He is reputed as a versatile visionary business leader, with a career trajectory that spans from Journalism/Corporate communication to now finance. He has taken BC Kash Cooperative Finance & Investment Society Ltd from an idea it was in 2006 to a cooperative of over 1,000,000 active members, making it the second largest cooperative after the Nigerian police, yet without attachment to any known institution.
With the present foray into Microfinance Banking, he is on the way to his vision of building a financial super market that will touch the life of every Nigerian and African.
He left GLO Mobile Benin Republic in 2009 as the head of communications after he joined the company in 2003 from THISDAY Newspaper where he rose from being a Financial Correspondent in 1995 to become Deputy Editor of the Saturday paper in 2003.
HE began his career as a journalist in 1993, at The GUARDIAN after his education in University of Jos and service in Kano State.
By utilizing leadership principles as the epicenter of business organization woven around the principles of integrity and a commitment to excellence, he has been able to do the unthinkable within the shortest possible time.
Ezinwa Magnus Obi graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) in 1998 with First Class Honours, emerging the best student in both the department and the faculty.
He is a seasoned banker with nearly two decades experience. His banking career spans across Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Private Banking, Retail and Consumer Banking, as well as Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) desks of several indigenous banks, within the middle and senior management positions. He rose through the ranks, contributing to the growth of many financial institutions, at branch management and regional management levels.
Very cerebral, analytical and result-oriented, Mr. Obi is grounded in risk management, credit analysis, international trade, treasury operations, financial markets, project financing, as well as strategic management, leadership, capacity building, brand development, business communication, customer relationship management, product development…etc. He is also involved in various youths’ mentorship and career development programmes. In recognition of his achievements in the banking industry and contributions to humanity in general, the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in October, 2004, honoured him with the Distinguished Alumnus Award, in recognition of his various achievements in these areas.
Until his appointment as the Managing Director of BC Kash Microfinance Bank in 2019, Mr. Obi was the Deputy Managing Director/Chief Operations Officer of Possibility Fund Ltd, where he contributed in repositioning the organization to the path of growth and profitability. He is also a financial/management consultant and life coach. He holds two Master’s degrees as well other professional qualifications.
JACOB OGWU OJERAHI
Mr Ojerahi can be described as the suiting balm in the group. A calm, honest and forthright gentle man, Jacob is a chartered Accountant and an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN), qualifying in the year 1992.
He is currently the Finance Director of the BC KASH Cooperative Finance and Investment Society Ltd. He has worked in various organizations as Chief Accountant such as HIRAN Nigeria Ltd, MUNTARI DANGANA & Co Chartered accountants, Thomas Kingsley Securities Ltd, Power and Communications Nigeria Limited.
He is an astute Accountant with many years of experience and has brought to the Bank his experience and knowledge.
OBIAGERI BEATRICE UZOR
She is a graduate of Economics from the University of Jos, Plateau State. She is an associate member of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria. She has worked with various organizations where she garnered management skills and competencies. Amongst the places are; Cedar Securities Limited, First Atlantic Securities Ltd and the Federal Civil Service Commission.
Innocent Onwubiko is a banker with over 25 years hands-on experience in banking and insurance. He graduated from University of Lagos, Akoka where he obtained a BSc (Hons) in Economics. His professional experience transverses Banking, Investment Banking and Insurance.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria(ICAN), a member of the Chartered Institute of Insurers and a SEC license Fund Manager.
He is a graduate of Accountancy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has over 9 years experience as an accountant with Bc Kash Cooperative Finance and Investment Society Limited.
She is a graduate of Agric-Economics from the University of Benin. She started her career with Mutual Benefit Assurance and joined Bc Kash Cooperative Finance and Investment Society Limited in 2013. She then moved to Sentinel Apartments and Suites as the General Manager
